Paper Mache Pumpkins 2

Here's another version of how to make paper mache pumpkins. The other tutorial was of a pinata but this can easily be converted into a pinata as well. I just thought it would be nice to share another way of decorating the paper mache pumpkin. And like she says below, painting is also an option. Either ways, its fun and the kids love this kind of stuff!

:>D some craftee crafter news! :>D

Before I go on with the tutorial I just wanted to direct you to the page tab on top that reads "Prizes and Giveaways!" Click on that tab and then click on the link for the post that explains how you can become eligible to win a set of sea foam seaglass pendant and earrings. A very beautiful set that would look gorgeous on anyone over the holidays! Check back too because I have other contests I'm cooking up too!

:>D Ok on to the tutorial! :>D

We made these a while back for family night. The kids loved it! It was messy and sticky, which was probably why it was a big hit with them. I chose to use orange paper because after all the mess of making them I really didn't want to break out the paint. We blew up some balloons and covered them in the paper that had been dipped in watered down Elmer's glue. The hardest part was waiting for them to dry! I ( uh, I mean my kids. . . ) don't have a whole lot of patience. Some green paper leaves and pipe cleaner curly things finished them off. Every time my boys walk by them they comment on how fun it was.
