I really like this idea! Yet another way I can decorate pumpkins with my grandson without using sharp stuff. Here she used metallic pumpkins, I'll have to see if there's any here on Maui. And I've never heard of Glitter Blast Spray before either so it'll be interesting to look for that as well.
Since I found this craft pretty early I'm sure I can order it online somewhere. I just know that this is definitely something I'd like to do.
I got this Halloween craft tutorial for a glittery sparkly pumpkin and boo from Creatively Southern and the link is below:

Glitter Craft: Sparkly Glittery Shells Garland
Love the beach but live far from it? Have a beach cottage and want to decorate with all the beautiful shells you find? Here's a great idea! And what's neat about this idea is you can order the shells to make this craft if you don't find any.
I Love the lace curtains, and the hemp or twine rope that they used to hang the shells to make a beautiful garland. The link where I got this glitter craft is below. There is no tutorial but I think it's pretty cut and dry. Spread glue on one side of the shell and pour glitter all over it. Make sure there's something underneath to catch the access glitter. Let it dry. Turn the shell over and do the same thing as the first side. Glue hemp or twine rope to the inside of the shell then hang your sparkly glittery shells on a long piece of rope to make a garland. That's how I would do it :)

Make Cooling Neckbands When Working In The Heat
Years ago when I was making scented sachets I wanted to branch out and offer customers new and novel ways to scent their home. I searched and searched and finally came across this material, polymer water crystals.
It's the material used in pampers. Once water gets in it stays for a long time. That's what some people use in Arizona to keep plants growing.
I used it in mason jars with dye and fragrance oils. I had always planned to make these neck coolers but for me sewing and the time it took wasn't feasible.
I'd ordered a big bag for $250 and used about half of it then lost the other half while moving :(
You can order it in less quantity if you're only making things for you and your family. Make it colorful or plain the choice is yours.
Here's the instructions to make the neck cooler:

Kids Craft: Make a Magic Wand and Pretend Play
Here's a really cute craft for kids to make using foam stars, paint, glue, glitter and some bling too. Kids will just love making this craft and going outside to pretend play with their new magical wands created by them. Imagine the stories they can come up with and the pretend play.
I have my grandsons over almost every day. My oldest grandson is great at pretend play. I make like I'm not watching him and every once in awhile he'll look to see if I'm watching him but he doesn't know I'm watching him from my peripheral vision. The whole time I'm smiling because it is just soooo cute.
I know if he made one of these wands he'd have a ton of things to make up with it. Can't wait to try it!
If you'd like to see your kids make this wand the link for the tutorial is below.

Christmas Craft: How To Make A Christmas Santa Free Craft Tutorial
I've been searching high and low for a Christmas Santa craft tutorial like this and now that I found it I don't know...I don't know about doing the face. The face part is definitely advanced crafting for me.
I think I need to look for a face already made but for the craft moms that can do this with polymer clay Great!!! I may try and attempt it but I'll look for a face/head, the rest I can do. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Thanksgiving Craft: Lollipop Turkey
This is such a cute craft but I'm afraid that turkey's tail won't last long if the kids have their way :))) That's ok, just have refill lollipops.
They use foam and different scrapbook paper designs to make this fun turkey. This is another creative craft from Crafts 'n Coffee. The link for the tutorial is below:

Recycle Craft Baby Food Jar Craft : Recycled Glass Bottle Chandelier
I'm always so happy when I find something new to do with baby food jars that I've never seen before. We have so many babies in our family so there's a lot of baby food jars. I have lots saved up.
Here's a beautiful way to recycle baby food jars, make a chandelier :) Here it looks like it's being used outside. On Maui, where I live, I don't think it'd be safe to use outside it gets so windy here. Even when it's not gusts just come from out of the blue when you least expect it so if you also live in a windy area make sure you use this in a sheltered area.
Baby food jars are not the only glass bottles that you can use for this craft, you can use almost any small glass bottle to make this chandelier. This is an awesome recycle craft!

Halloween Craft: Shabby Chic Pumpkin Decorating
This is a really different take on pumpkin decorating. Kristen, the creator of this craft at honeybearlane, uses dollar store pumpkins and book pages to decorate her little pumpkins.
This is a beautiful pumpkin but I think this is another great way to have little children decorate a pumpkin safely without using the sharp pumpkin carving tools. They can pick their favorite cartoon characters, don't tear a good book up to do this craft, but maybe you have some parenting or children's magazines you can use the pictures from. Let them have fun cutting out the pages and mod podge onto their little pumkin.
Here we went from Shabby Chic to a fun kid's craft, both are awesome!
The link for this beautiful Shabby Chic Halloween pumpkin is below:

Summer Craft: Duct Tape Wreath
With the introduction prints and various colors of duct tape to choose from comes a barrage of new and different crafts. Like this wreath. It's so representative of summer I think. The duct tape around the wreath looks like shimmery water in a pink pool and the butterfly is a sweet addition along with the flowers.
I Love this wreath and I'm probably going to share more from Craft 'n Coffee because I love her creations!
If you'd like to make this wreath the tutorial is available at Craft 'n Coffee. Just click on the link below:

Christmas Craft: White Burlap Christmas Winter Wreath
Ok, I may be going overboard with the burlap wreaths but I can't help it. I Love her style! It's so clean and crisp not too mention I like working with burlap too :)))

Fall Thanksgiving Craft: Burlap Fall Wreath
I think Linda over at Craftaholics Anonymous really likes burlap as do I :))) Here's another wonderfully beautiful wreath she's created for Fall or Thanksgiving.
Wrapped in natural color burlap this wreath is adorned with pretty burlap flowers in fall colors. And what's that cool detail in the middle of the flower? Very nice! I Love it!
It would be nice even to make those flowers to use for your hair :)))

Halloween Craft: Black Burlap Boo Wreath
Always looking for ways to make wreaths for any holiday. I Love burlap, always have. I once made giant pillows of burlap for us to laze around in while watching tv. It was pretty scratchy though. This wreath made of burlap is probably a better way to use burlap material.
Linda, of Craftaholics Anonymous and the creator of this Boo Wreath, used wood block letters for this wreath. You can always use burlap, not necessarily black, you can use green, orange, or purple burlap and detail it with anything Halloweeny but his does me just fine :)))
If you like this wreath and would want to make it just click the link below for the pictorial:

Dessert Recipe: Strawberry Cake
Looking for another recipe. I caught at the corner of this blog a picture of this delicious looking strawberry cake. This recipe is called Mama Seward's Strawberry Cake Recipe. I feel like eating this cake right now!
My youngest daughter does most of the baking in this house. She usually makes a chocolate or yellow cake with chocolate covered strawberries. I think she's gonna love baking this one!

Halloween Craft: Make Your Own Halloween Costumes
When my children were younger I always made their costumes and it was so much fun. Almost every year my son was a pirate. He Loved being a pirate and it was fun running around finding him clothes that would match and then he had his "eye patch" too :)))
I remember taking him to school when he was 4yrs. old and the teachers adored his home made costume saying they don't see that too much anymore.
Well, I think times have changed. As more and more opportunities arise for moms to stay home and work they have more time to be creative and do crafts.
Here's a mom that makes her children's Halloween costumes too. Very simple, very unique, very fun!
I got this craft from Fiskars and the link to the tutorial for these Halloween costumes is below:
http://www2.fiskars.com/Sewing-Quilting/Projects/Clothing/Halloween-Costumes/Handmade-Halloween-Costumes#.UbvmJtuF8Rk
